COVID-19 Testing No Longer Required for Air Passengers Traveling to the U.S. as of June 12, 2022

The Centers of Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) has rescinded its order requiring persons to show a negative COVID-19 test result or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before boarding a flight to the United States. Effective June 12, 2022 air passengers, regardless of vaccination status or citizenship, are no longer required to show results of a COVID test taken within 1 day of the flight, or show documentation of recovery from COVID-19 as in the past. Note, however, that the CDC’s Order requiring proof of vaccination for noncitizen nonimmigrants to travel to the United States is still in effect. For more information, see Requirement for Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination for Air Passengers
