Miki Iwai
Senior Paralegal Manager

Miki Iwai is the Senior Paralegal Manager at Goeschl Law Corporation, where she works closely with clients and legal teams to manage complex corporate immigration matters. She has particular experience supporting multinational and foreign-based organizations with employees and operations across multiple jurisdictions.

Miki’s work encompasses L-1 blanket programs, E-1 and E-2 registrations, and immigration filings arising from mergers, acquisitions, and spin-offs. She also works on O-1 and the full range of EB-1 matters, NIWs, H-3 training petitions, and individual L-1 petitions. Her background includes work with organizations in AI, robotics, space technologies, finance, law, banking, electronics, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, advertising, biotech, telecommunications, entertainment, and media.

Miki is a graduate of Bryn Mawr College and studied philosophy at The New School for Social Research. She earned an International Baccalaureate from St. Maur International School in Japan and is fluent in Japanese.

Francis Pheil
Senior Case Manager

Francis Pheil is a Senior Case Manager at Goeschl Law Corporation, where he works with clients and legal teams on employment-based permanent residence matters. He coordinates case preparation, documentation, and timelines for companies building and retaining their workforces over the long term.

Ragini Ghosh
Senior Immigration Specialist and Case Manager

Ragini Ghosh is a Senior Immigration Specialist and Case Manager at Goeschl Law Corporation. She works across the employment-based immigration process, helping provide continuity as clients’ needs progress from temporary work authorization to permanent residence.

Ragini’s experience includes PERM labor certification matters; H-1B, TN, E-3, and H-1B1 petitions; STEM OPT extensions; I-140 petitions; and adjustment of status applications. She works with clients in technology, cybersecurity, and other rapidly developing industries to coordinate documentation, filing requirements, and case timelines.

Julio Leyva
Senior Paralegal

Julio Leyva is a Senior Paralegal on the Immigrant Visa team at Goeschl Law Corporation. He works with clients and attorneys to coordinate permanent residence matters for professionals, becoming an enduring part of growing technology, biotechnology, and other innovation-driven workforces.

Julio prepares I-140 petitions and adjustment of status applications and manages filing deadlines, expiration dates, and other critical immigration data. His experience also includes family-based petitions, immigrant visa consular processing, naturalization applications, and reentry permit matters. Before joining Goeschl Law, he worked at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP.

Julio earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from San Francisco State University and a Paralegal and Legal Studies certificate from City College of San Francisco.

Kelis Lee
Global Case Manager (Asia)

Based in Singapore, Kelis Lee is a Global Case Manager at Goeschl Law Corporation, where she coordinates corporate immigration matters in Singapore and across Asia. She works with multinational organizations and growing companies as they establish operations, relocate employees, and expand their workforces throughout the region.

Kelis manages documentation, filing requirements, and case timelines and coordinates with clients, legal teams, and immigration providers across multiple jurisdictions. She has particular experience with Singapore Employment Pass matters and helps clients maintain consistent, organized mobility processes as their operations grow.

Lamiya Al Shiekhly
Senior Immigration Specialist (Canada and EMEA)

Lamiya Al Shiekhly is a Senior Immigration Specialist at Goeschl Law Corporation, where she leads Canadian immigration matters and coordinates cross-border mobility services across North America and Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

As a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant, Lamiya works with multinational employers on Canadian immigration strategies and processes, including Labour Market Impact Assessments, the Global Talent Stream, International Mobility Program and Permanent Resident pathways. She also coordinates treaty-based and other cross-border matters with the firm’s attorneys, global counsel partners, and immigration providers.

Lamiya works closely with human resources and business leaders on mobility, compliance, and employee experience matters. Her background spans consulting in institutional, and in-house environments supporting workforces across Canada, the United States, Mexico, and the EMEA region.

Lamiya earned a Bachelor of Science in Media and Sociology from City St George’s, University of London. She is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) licensed by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). She is also pursuing a Global Mobility Specialist, Talent Management (GMS-T) designation from WERC. She is fluent in English and Urdu, and intermediate in Arabic and Balochi.

Joey Tok
Immigration Specialist

Joey Tok is an Immigration Specialist on the Nonimmigrant Visa team at Goeschl Law Corporation. She prepares and manages nonimmigrant visa matters for employers building and expanding their U.S. workforces, with a particular focus on H-1B petitions.

Before joining Goeschl Law, Joey worked in a legal practice and government service in Singapore. She also co-founded a volunteer initiative that documents the personal histories of individuals navigating life-limiting illnesses.

Joey earned a Bachelor of Social Sciences with Honours in Sociology, with a minor in English Literature, from the National University of Singapore, where she was named to the Dean’s List. She is proficient in Mandarin Chinese.
