Canada to End All COVID-19 Travel Restrictions as of October 1, 2022

Effective October 1, 2022, the government of Canada is ending all COVID-19 emergency orders affecting travel. All travelers, regardless of nationality, will no longer be required to:

  • Provide proof of vaccination prior to entry to Canada

  • Submit personal information through the ArriveCan app or website

  • Submit to COVID-19 testing prior to arrival or on arrival in Canada

  • Carry out quarantine or isolation

  • Monitor and report symptoms of COVID-19 upon arrival in Canada

  • Wear face masks on planes and trains
