February 2016 Visa Bulletin: Final Action Date for EB-2 India Will Advance by 6 Months; No Change to Application Filing Dates

The Department of State Visa Office has released the February 2016 Visa Bulletin. The bulletin announced that the final action date for EB-2 India will advance by 6 months while the final action cut-off date for EB-2 China will advance by 1 month. The bulletin also announced moderate forward movement of the application filing dates for EB-3 India, China and Philippines. 

Application Final Action Dates (when an immigrant visa or adjustment of status application can be approved).  Foreign nationals with priority dates earlier than the final action dates indicated in the VisaBulletin chart below, or where noted as “C” for “current,” may be approved for an adjustment of status application (I-485) or immigrant visa during the applicable month.
 
Dates for Filing Visa Applications (when an immigrant visa or adjustment of status application can be filed).  Foreign nationals with priority dates earlier than the dates for filing visa applications indicated in the Visa Bulletin chart below, or where noted as “C” for “current,” may file an adjustment of status application (I-485) or immigrant visa during the applicable month.
